Target Sprint presentation video

What is Target Sprint?

Target Sprint combines middle-distance running (3 × 400 metres) with air-rifle shooting at a distance of 10 metres. The race begins with a 400-metre run, followed by a shooting stage in which five knock-down targets, similar to those used in biathlon, must be hit with a maximum of 15 shots. A second 400-metre run and a second shooting stage follow, again with five targets and a maximum of 15 shots. A third and final 400-metre run takes the athletes to the finish.
